Concerts On The Water
A FLOATING CONCERT? ABSOLUTELY - NOW X3!
4pm-7:30pm
PADDLE OF THE BANDS
One band playing from a boat is awesome. One band playing from the beach is awesome. One band (Riverhouse Band) playing from the shore, with two bands (Paddle Out Band and Runaway Fire) playing from pontoon boats in the cove, trading songs like goal shots on a soccer field - INCREDIBLE! Picture floating out on the water at Quail Lake with other paddlers and boaters, where you can enjoy the experience from your vessel, but you can also bring a chair or blanket with you to the cove shoreline and post up on the shore. Sit up on the peninsula for an elevated mezzanine-type view, sipping that beverage and soaking up the sunset.
EARLY BIRD PRICING

It’s usually just $15 for one band. This time, it's only $20 to get your wristband for ALL 3 BANDS and a cold, non-alcoholic beverage. You can bring your own gear or rent from us at DIG Paddlesports. If you’re renting gear to attend the show, rentals are discounted with concert ticket purchase at just $10/person for Concerts on the Water, but you have to book early. Day-of tickets go to $25 each, and day-of rentals go to $15/person. Come as early as 3pm to check in for gear rental. Come any time to get your wristband.
PADDLE CLUB MEMBERS
If you are a Dig Paddle Club Member, you get a 10% discount on the concert and your gear rental is free, just book it ahead of time. We also have some of our Gunlock-specific fleet that we can tap into ahead of time to make sure you are floating stoked!
Family-friendly; kids and dogs (pack the poop out) are welcome. Alcohol consumption laws apply. Recreational marijuana use is not legal in Utah. Don't blame us if you get cited.
Who is performing?
- Riverhouse Band : Playing from the Dig Paddlesports Shop or Beach
- Paddle Out Band: Playing from Damon Atkinson's Boat
- Runaway Fire: Playing from the Mad Moose Boat

• These are old graphics from the previous performances' posters.
Yes, at this one, come and grab a cold beverage from the coolers at check-in!
PIZZA
Smokin' Sasquatch Pizza (with that tidy sourdough crust) is back! Plan ahead to enjoy some great food and views before the concert. We'll be setting up our custom, light-up cornhole sets by the ovens after the show. Come and meet the bands, get a bite, and toss a light before heading home. Nothing wrong with an after-party.
Carpool with your pals, if you can. Check in for wristbands any time on Saturday, and pick up your rental gear as early as 3pm. Concert is scheduled in the cove from 5:30-7:30pm. Some attendees have used the DMV parking lot on the south side of State Street, just two miles from the park gate. There may also be parking available near the county fairgrounds. There is also nearby overflow parking at the DNR building parking lot at the south end of the lake, right by the concrete dam. Park your cars, and have your buddy pick you up for that last mile or so. We MAY be able to shuttle people and gear (6 at a time) from the south parking lot by the dam to the main boat ramp, but haven't ironed that out, just yet, as of 09/04/2025.
In-park parking: Also, after 9pm the gates beyond our shop are closed and locked. You can get out of the park from either side, and the bathrooms are always accessible. Just don't expect to be able to drive your car from the DIG side of the gate to the boat ramp after 9. If that's important to you, just park on the north side of the gates in the single-stall parking spots. Do not park in the 2X long trailer parking stalls.
ADA access needed? Just ask our Dig staff.
VISITING FROM OUT OF THE AREA? HERE ARE SOME GREAT OPTIONS FOR PLACES TO STAY, and there's a deal just up the road from the lake for the concerts:

A few rules to keep everyone safe and enjoy the show. PFD's must be worn or on your kayak/SUP to maintain compliance with Utah boating law. For kids 13 and under, they must be worn. This is a Utah Boating Law and a state park policy. Citations may be issued if not compliant. Please remember this is a family event. State alcohol/drug laws and usage regulations fully apply. Event staff will be checking for wrist bands once out on the water or on the concert-designated shoreline. Thank you for not sneaking in. We support the arts by actually supporting the artists. We are stoked to have you join us!

ell me about this "floating stage" boat?
Damon Atkinson of Dream Season Guide Service generously provides the pontoon boat for the band. He is an expert fishing guide and outdoorsman whose guided tours almost always end in victory - well, for those fishing, not so much for the fish! Damon is also a USAF Veteran and current board member for the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce. We don't mind sharing that as an insurance agent with EasyShop Insurance, he has served Dig Paddlesports and team well for both commercial and household protection! He's very creative and knowledgable. Contact him at 435 773 0571 or take a look at their website.
