Learn the skillset required to teach beginner or first-time paddlers the basic techniques required for paddling competently. We believe that competence leads to confidence, particularly when paddling on open water.
DIG Paddlesports Guide Certification provides the tools you'll need to confidently teach basic paddling classes confidently, including safety principles. We'll cover craft control, self-recovery, assisted recovery, environmental considerations, and a host of other information for your success as a guide and paddler.
Course Length: 2 days. Typically 9am-5pm with break for lunch.
Dates: TBD
Minimum Age of Participants: 18 years old.
Teacher-to-Student Ratio: 1:6, 2:10 or 3:15
